Do you want to enjoy yourself without the extra cost of feeling manipulated? Then this is the film for you, my dear friends. One which I started to watch without the slightest idea or hint where exactly it will take me, where it will end up in the story-line. I would like to say it out loud here that this year it was and still is probably one of my personal favorites among all the movies that can make their audience seriously laugh and feel with the main character as he takes a journey through his personal life only to discover how good his family really is.
Robert DeNiro surprised me immensely. I am happy to say that he has proved that he is not only capable of playing the tough mobster and lunatic crazy characters in many great films, but that he can very well be a loving and caring father and grandfather whose main purpose in life is to make sure his family is doing well.
Please, if you have any chance to go or rent out ‘EVERYBODY’S FINE’ anywhere near your place of residence- do it, you will not be disappointed! I promise you.
The only sad feeling I have is that this film will never be shown in Latvian movie theatres. But if by any chance you are in EE – go right ahead and have a wonderful eve at the local cinema hall.
