09.11.2009 16:08  The world famous “Bodies Revealed” opens on November 13 in the new Solaris center in Tallinn. It is an exhibition displaying real human bodies, which have been preserved by a new revolutionary method. “Bodies” has toured all over the world, and attracted over 28 million visitors.
This jaw-dropping exhibition lets the visitors explore the secrets, interesting details, and the complex structure of the human organism. One can see with one’s own eyes what the human body looks like on the inside. The exhibition has displays of more than 200 single organs and body parts, and one can acquaint with the bone structure, muscle formation and anything inside a human body. This powerful exhibition, which has been shown all over the world – NYC, Atlanta, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Budapest, etc - is more effective than any photo one will ever see in an encyclopedia or a doctor’s office. To compare a real smoker’s lung sitting next to a healthy lung, or to see what obesity does to your inner body in reality, is startling. All this will be available for the public in Solaris Center from 13.11.09 - 14.02.10. The exhibition has no age limit. The expo also provides an audio guide possibility, available in Estonian and Russian. There will be many experts in medicine present to answer any questions and be guides.
